Genstar — Month of Giving

This October, Genstar is giving back to the Calgary communities we help build, and we want you to choose where it goes. Pick the cause that matters most to you, and Genstar will donate $10 on your behalf. From Lewisburg to Rangeview Springs, great communities are built by the people in them. This is our way of saying thank you.

Step-by-Step: How to Participate

1. Between October 12, 2026 and November 12, 2026, visit genstar.goodnessgiveaway.org, or scan the QR code at a participating builder show home in Lewisburg or Rangeview Springs.
2. Choose a featured cause, or search for any eligible charity by name or charitable registration number.
3. Complete your selection on the Goodness Giveaway platform to direct a $10 donation from Genstar to your chosen charity.
4. Celebrate your impact, and share the campaign so others can choose a cause too.

Official Promotion Rules

1. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, provincial, and local laws apply.
2. No purchase necessary.
3. Sponsor: Genstar Development Company, 8826 Blackfoot Trail SE, Suite 230, Calgary, AB T2J 3J1. Donations made by Goodness Giveaway’s foundation partner: Canadian Online Giving Foundation.
4. How to enter:
   1. Online: Visit genstar.goodnessgiveaway.org and complete the charity selection process on the Goodness Giveaway platform.
   2. In person: Visit a participating builder show home in Lewisburg or Rangeview Springs, scan the QR code on display, and complete the charity selection process on the Goodness Giveaway platform while at the show home.
   Limit one (1) online entry per person, and one (1) in-person entry per person at each participating show home. Any additional entry by the same person online, or at the same show home, is a duplicate and is void, as are entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means, and entries that are illegible, incomplete, or contain errors. Normal internet and data charges from your service provider may apply. No other entry method will be accepted.
5. Charity Selection: Up to 500 donations of $10 CAD are available, to a maximum of $5,000 CAD:
   1. 400 donations ($4,000) for online entries
   2. 100 donations ($1,000) for in-person entries
   Each pool is separate. Once a pool is fully claimed, no further donations will be made through that entry method, even if donations remain in the other pool. Every valid entry results in a $10 donation to the selected charity until its pool is claimed. The Sponsor may increase or decrease the number of donations available at its discretion.
6. Promotion Period: The promotion begins October 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM MDT and ends November 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM MST (the “Promotion Period”). No entries will be accepted after this time. The Sponsor may extend or cancel the promotion at its discretion.
7. Eligible organizations: Only charities registered with the Canada Revenue Agency and in good standing are eligible to receive funds.
8. Donation amount and cap: $10 will be donated to the charity in the charity’s local currency (CAD) up to a maximum of $5,000 CAD.
9. Disbursement timing: Goodness Giveaway operates on a monthly donation disbursement cycle. Donations will be processed and disbursed to your nominated charity on or around December 2026. 10. Charity Support Fee: A charity support fee of 7.8% will be deducted from the donation amount. This fee is to facilitate the disbursement of funds and issue tax receipts. A donation of $10 will equal $9.22 received by the charity.
11. Designation: Donations will not be subject to donor designation. This means the charity will be able to allocate the funds where it determines they’re needed most, and not to a specific project, event, or initiative.
12. Tax: A tax receipt will be provided to the individual or company providing the funds — in this case, Genstar.
13. Release: By participating, entrant agrees to release the Sponsor, Goodness Giveaway and its affiliates and foundation partners, and its and their directors, officers, and employees from any claims or liability arising from participation in the Promotion.
14. Your Information: Your name and email are collected to complete your entry. Answering the optional questionnaire is voluntary. If you enter at a show home, your information will be shared with Genstar and with the builder whose show home you visited. If you enter at more than one show home, it will be shared with each of those builders. With your consent, Genstar and those builders may contact you about homes and communities.
